Most team building training courses focus on the mechanics of effective teams – problem solving, meeting skills, and decision-making. Although these
skills are critical to team success, they ignore a major issue for all teams – how to interact with each other. To work together, team members must
develop their interactive, communication, and interpersonal skills. This action-oriented team building experiential program will provide a catalyst
for awareness of teamwork and team spirit for the team.
Participants will discover their own resources and creativity, and enhancing the team with each individual's unique talents. Leadership, learning,
communication and trust are all components of teamwork. Participants will understand the dynamics of the team, the behaviour of the other individuals
within the team and the benefits of team cooperation as opposed to team competition. In an experiential environment, participants will be challenged to
work together, develop creative solutions to the various activities and building.
Serious Fun , Unique & Transferable Experiences
Each activity is followed by a detailed debrief focused on how insights gained from the activity can be applied to the workplace. After each debrief,
participants complete a personal action plan, which serves as an individual commitment for making personal change in the workplace.
This program ends with a group discussion on barriers and challenges to putting personal action plans in place. After the discussion Nu Quest facilitates
its Personal Breakthrough Activity where participants simulate breaking-through those barriers by breaking boards.
