This is fun, energizing event which has everyone "moving to the beat" in the end. A band of 6 to 15 musicians is formed as a team and they learn to play different rhythm using the "Instrument(s) of the Day". The teams practice separately and then finally altogether. The co-ordinated rhythms sound great together. The debriefing includes discussions about appreciation of different music of different cultures, diversity, utilization of resources, awareness of other teams, and the importance of good listening skills. Everyone is a winner, and comes away feeling great even if they cannot keep a beat!
