TetraMap™,
orginated from Yoshimi and John Brett of LEARNOLOGY, is a behavioural map based on our intuitive understanding
of Nature and its elements: Earth, Air, Water and Fire. The model is created to stop communication violence, a
common threat in work and life relationships. It was and still is introduced, delivered and applied within
corporate and youth classrooms.
Applicability
TetraMap is logically obvious and uses simple, intuitive terminology, people can quickly and easily
being applying the model in their everyday lives. Most models concentrate on understanding the self
and one's own specific characteristics. Conversely, the TetraMap focuses almost entirely on understanding
others and how to adapt to their specific characteristics.
Aspects of TetraMap:
- Perceptive - understand where others are coming from.
- Generic - provides a framework for organizational development.
- Versatile - suitable for executives and casual workers alike.
- Links to prior knowledge - easy to understand and remember.
- Cross cultural - readily embraced by people from diverse cultures.
- Intuitive - no confusing terminology. Requires common sense, not a PhD.
- Fun - non-threatening and easy to put into practice.
